Role and Responsibilities
Role Purpose

Your role will be to support customer projects from the early stages of planning, through specification, installation support, monitoring system set-up, after-sales support and training.

 

Key Accountabilities

Assisting customers ahead of new project installations with technical advice and recommendations.
Discussing equipment and set up of projects with customers after order placement then handing over the details to the production team.
Providing customers with support during installation, usually remotely, but sometimes on-site, which will involve some travel, mainly within Europe.
Setting up and amending monitoring diagrams, alerts, user profiles, and calculations for projects.
Attending site when required to support customer installations, or to replace faulty equipment.
Assisting customers with technical queries and fault reports.
Responding to and updating customer support ticket records.
Providing training to customers, usually remotely, but sometimes face to face.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of two years’ experience of customer service in an engineering or technical environment. Suitable fields include: structural or geotechnical monitoring, surveying, infrastructure, telecommunications or networks.
Fluent German and good English language ability.
Dedication to meeting customer needs and excellent customer relations skills.
Strong administrative abilities, close attention to detail.
Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
Proficient with web and MS Office applications, especially Excel.

The role will be based from home and will require some travel in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and sometimes other countries.
