NDT Technician – Level 2 Qualified MPI & DPI NDT Technician

Applus+ is a leading global energy service provider looking to recruit a NDT Technician
based within our Reigate Test House.

This role will be responsible for carrying out in service and pre-service Non Destructive
Testing / Inspections of a variety of Aerospace and Industrial castings, weldments,
machined parts, composites and assembly’s using appropriate techniques.

Key Responsibilities of the NDT Technician include but are not limited to:

Process of Fluorescent Magnetic Particle components – Aviation and General
Engineering
Process of Fluorescent Penetrant components – Aviation and General Engineering
Assisting with the day-to-day activities within the busy Test house
Booking in the work and generating certificates and delivery notes
Control checks on consumables and equipment.
Goods in and out.
Unpacking and packing the parts
General housekeeping
Training for NDT Level 2 in, Ultrasonics and Radiography
What we would like from the NDT Technician:

Level 2 EN4179 MPI & DPI or equivalent (PCN Level 2 Aero or General)
Able to work a Standard static MPI Bench and Penetrant Line
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience of the NDT Technician:

Experience in working in a Test house environment
Experience in other NDT Methods
Forklift Licence
