Applus+ is a leading global energy service provider looking to recruit a Trainee Aviation
NDT Technician based within our Luton office. This role will be responsible for carrying
out NDT inspections on aircraft structures, materials and components at client’s sites.

Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Aviation NDT Technician include but are
not limited to:

Carrying out NDT inspections of Aircraft structures, materials and components
at different customer sites.
There may also be a requirement to travel abroad to support clients from time
to time as to perform NDT level 2
Assist qualified Aviation NDT Technicians in day-to-day activities
Be active in promoting and maintaining company’s high standard for Health,
Safety, Environment and Quality.
Maintain and continue to develop good relationship with client and colleagues.
Committed to work on shift/weekend on call system as and when required.
What we would like from the Trainee Aviation NDT Technician:

Knowledge and interest on aerospace industry and work in an NDT testing
environment.
Strong attention to detail and high integrity with responsible attitude to
airworthiness and the need for accuracy during testing and process control
activities.
Highly motivated with ability to work either unsupervised or as part of a team.
Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivating to work as part of a team with client.
Computer literate with good communication skills.
Willing to work overtime if required.
Willing to participate in company’s and client’s HSEQ initiatives.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience of the Trainee Aviation NDT
Technician:

Any previous training courses related to aircraft.
Any NDT training courses completed.
