About this equipment

New EddySonix ECS systems, designed and manufactured in Switzerland and supplied directly by EddySonix. The Eddy Current Scanner (ECS) measures effective case depth (ECD) non-destructively in induction-hardened axle bars, tulip stem shafts and fixed outer race (FOR) stem shafts. Automated scanning provides: • Numerical ECD results in millimeters at defined inspection points. • Continuous scan profiles. • Automatic pass/fail assessment. In industrial use since 2018, ECS helps manufacturers monitor hardening consistency and reduce routine destructive sectioning. Each application is trained and validated against microhardness cut-check results. Measurement performance is established for the agreed component, material and inspection locations. Once trained and validated, routine inspection does not require a master part. The supply scope, including inspection coils, software, installation and operator training, is defined in the quotation. Optional surface-hardness assessment requires a separate application database. International supply is available. Price, delivery and shipping terms are provided by quotation. Contact EddySonix with your part drawing, ECD requirements and inspection locations to discuss the required configuration. Product details: https://eddysonix.com/ecs/ Video:
