TÜV SÜD PSB in Singapore is hiring an aerospace inspector for its Inspection Service business unit, which inspects and assesses aircraft. The inspector checks aerostructures, systems and components against codes and standards, performs NDT when assigned, and reports findings. At least five years as an aerospace inspector and NAS 410 Level 2 in MT (with M10) plus two further methods such as PT, ET or UT are mandatory.

What the job involves
- Carry out internal and external inspections against the acceptance criteria of the governing code or standard
- Perform NDT when the assignment calls for it
- Recommend and approve repairs, then visually inspect completed work
- Keep assigned inspection equipment in good working order
- Write detailed inspection reports and daily reports
- Coach junior inspectors and complete risk assessments before work starts
What you need
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or similar
- Five or more years working as an aerospace inspector
- NAS 410 Level 2 in MT and M10 (mandatory), plus any two of PT, ET or UT
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Willing to work shifts and weekends
