ST Engineering's Commercial Aerospace business is hiring an NDT technician based at Changi North Way, Singapore, to work alongside its NDT engineers. The technician calibrates equipment, carries out non-destructive tests and decides whether indications are acceptable under approved procedures. NAS410/EN4179 Level 2 and prior RT, PT, ET, MT, UT or IRT work count in a candidate's favour; the minimum qualification is a Higher NITEC or engineering diploma.

What the job involves
- Prepare equipment and run system checks for the NDT method in use
- Apply the codes, standards and contract documents relevant to each method
- Interpret indications, accept or reject parts and document the outcome
- Work closely with the NDT Engineer as part of the team
- Follow safety rules, wear the required PPE and take direction from the NDT Level 3
What you need
- Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering as a minimum
- NAS410/EN4179 NDT Level 2 is an advantage
- Prior RT, PT, ET, MT, UT or IRT work is an advantage
- Must pass a vision acuity test (corrective lenses allowed) and a colour vision check
- Able to work across four sites: Changi North, Paya Lebar, Seletar and Changi Creek
- No fear of confined spaces or heights
Pay and conditions
- Rotating shifts with occasional night shifts
- Overtime when requested
