Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS) is a type of non-destructive testing (NDT) method used to measure the wall thickness of tubes and pipes. Pin sets the zero reference every time the mirror rotates
IRIS is 0 deg inspection so it is for thickness. Cracks require angle beam
