    Hi All,
Thanks for reply for earlier post.
We have a Pressure vessel with U stamp and Code symbol RT1.The name plate for the vessel states the Radiography FULL (see section UG-116 and UW-11 IN ASME Sec VII which gives some exception for category B weld )
But one of the weld joint is category B (see fig UW-3) which has done only MT. Can any one please conform it is as per ASME Sec VIII.
Also another weld which is of Category D is tested with UT and MT. Can anyone please conform that it is as per ASME Sec VIII also if correct what section in the standard.
weld joint is for drain on the vessel 2″ class 150 schedule 160. SA350 LF2 and SA 333 Gr 6
The reason I am asking is that the vessel was in service and during shutdown they found some defect on the drain (flange attachment weld ) and since the vessel Name plate says Full radiography they want to look at the radiographic film but could not find as the joint is tested as mentioned above.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The base metal is for category B weld is SA 333 GR 6 Material wall thk is 8.74 S160

and for category D weld shell base metal is SA516 gr 70 and its thickness is 22mm.

Is there a reference in the code for RT not required for non butt weld for category D weld.
    Thanks
