Braun Intertec is hiring a Level II radiographer for nondestructive examination work in North Dakota, based in Dickinson or Watford City, with Minot also considered. The technician leads crews on field and laboratory projects, using radiography together with ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant and visual methods. RT Level II certification, an IRRSP card and the required RT classroom and radiation safety training are needed.

What the job involves

Carry out radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant and visual inspections on field or lab projects
Lead the crew on site with little supervision
Train assistants in the correct processes and procedures
Complete reports and work documents promptly and accurately
Use safe work practices at all times

What you need

Level II NDT certifications; must pass Braun Intertec's own RT Level II test (MT, PT and UT Level II preferred)
Meets ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II experience and education requirements
IRRSP card, 80 classroom hours in RT and a 40-hour radiation safety course
Valid, insurable driver's license and willingness to travel
Able to lift at least 75 lb and work from ladders and scaffolding
Clear drug, criminal background and driving record checks; TWIC a plus

Pay and conditions

Pay: USD 60,000-90,000 per year, as published by Braun Intertec Corporation.
Compensation range $60,000-$90,000
