Lead Inspector

Buffalo Inspection Services, a non-union NDT company with over 40 years in Western Canada, is hiring a Lead Inspector for its Downhole Tool Division in Edmonton. The lead plans and performs inspections of downhole tools and related equipment to API RP 7G-2 and TH Hill DS-1, mentors technicians and keeps work on schedule. CGSB MT II and PT II certifications are an asset and a valid driver's licence is required.

What the job involves

• Lead, coordinate and carry out downhole tool inspections to API RP 7G-2 and TH Hill DS-1
• Make sure jobs satisfy client specs, Buffalo's quality procedures and regulatory rules
• Troubleshoot inspection equipment and keep tools calibrated and ready
• Mentor and guide Downhole Tool Division technicians
• Schedule and prioritise work to meet client timelines and update clients on results
• Take part in audits, follow up NCRs and improve inspection processes

What you need

• CGSB MT II and PT II certifications are an asset
• Valid driver's licence
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Safety and quality focus; team player with good customer service
