Bureau Veritas Industrie is recruiting an advanced NDT technician on a permanent contract, based in Arras and covering Hauts-de-France (a South-West base is also possible). The technician performs conventional and advanced inspections for industrial clients in sectors from aerospace and naval to energy, wind and nuclear, and issues the resulting reports. At least five years of NDT experience and several COFREND ISO 9712 certifications, including a mandatory UT2 CIFM, are required.

What the job involves

Act as the specialist on advanced and conventional NDT assignments for equipment in manufacture or in service
Serve clients in manufacturing, aerospace, naval, petrochemical, energy, wind and nuclear
Respect regulatory, contractual and safety requirements on every job
Advise clients on technical solutions as an independent third party
Issue inspection reports, expert assessments and certificates of conformity
Support client relationships and pass sales leads to the commercial team

What you need

Two-year higher diploma (Bac+2) in mechanics, metallurgy, physical measurement or materials science, or equivalent
Minimum five years of NDT experience in manufacturing, maintenance or monitoring
Several COFREND ISO 9712 certifications, with UT2 CIFM mandatory
Advanced UT experience (PAUT, TOFD, TFM) is a plus
Valid category B driving licence

Pay and conditions

Pay: EUR 35,000-42,000 per year, as published by Bureau Veritas Industrie.

Salary EUR 35,000–42,000 gross per year depending on profile
Service vehicle and a EUR 21.10 meal allowance per travel day
