Bureau Veritas Italia is looking for an NDT specialist in Rome to plan, coordinate and supervise complex inspection campaigns on critical plants and infrastructure during routine maintenance, shutdowns and revamping. The role leads multidisciplinary teams, deals directly with major clients and signs off technical reports. ASNT Level III or equivalent EN ISO 9712 certification, at least five years in NDT and experience managing teams of ten or more are required.

What the job involves
- Define NDT strategies and plan sequences, resources and timelines to project specifications and international codes
- Supervise UT, RT, PT, MT, VT, TOFD and other inspections and check result quality and documentation
- Resolve technical anomalies in the field and propose alternatives when results or constraints require
- Present results, reports and recommendations to clients and handle change requests
- Keep full traceability of data and certificates in line with ISO 9001
- Coordinate maintenance work on power, oil and gas and infrastructure plants while enforcing safety rules
What you need
- Engineering degree (civil, mechanical or electrical) or higher technical diploma in a related field
- ASNT Level III or equivalent EN ISO 9712 certification
- At least five years of NDT experience in oil and gas, power generation or infrastructure
- Proven management of teams of ten or more people and complex projects
- Knowledge of API, ASME and EN 1330; native Italian and English at B2 or higher

- Gross annual salary from EUR 32,000 depending on experience
