Collins Aerospace needs an NDT Inspector A focused on digital radiographic inspection of composite and metal bond components at its Riverside, California plant. The inspector plans and runs inspections from procedures and technique sheets, calibrates equipment and dispositions parts, with training offered in CT, DDA and CR. Level 2 certification in film and digital radiography and several years of digital RT experience are required.

What the job involves
- Set up and run NDT equipment, including ultrasonic inspections, to approved work instructions
- Plan inspection sequences from procedures, repair orders, technique sheets and drawings
- Perform calibrations and media checks and adjust tooling so results stay valid
- Interpret indications and accept or reject parts by size, location, orientation and pattern
- Recommend method or equipment changes for recurring issues and write supporting procedures
- Carry out routine equipment servicing and escalate problems to the Level III or team leader
What you need
- High school diploma and 5+ years in digital radiographic NDT, or associate degree and 3 years
- Certified to Level 2 or higher in radiography, both digital and film
- Documented formal training hours under Rohr Inc.'s NDT qualification and certification procedure
- US citizenship required for program access; no clearance needed
- Preferred: North Star Imaging systems and experience in ultrasonics and liquid penetrant

- Pay: USD 90,522 per year, as published by Collins Aerospace.
