Inspector A

NOV is hiring an experienced NDT inspector in Muskogee, Oklahoma to inspect and test equipment and systems for defects. The inspector uses UT, RT, MT and PT methods, documents findings and recommends corrective actions. Level 2 NDT certification and at least five years of inspection experience, preferably in oil and gas, are required.

What the job involves

• Carry out NDT inspections to established procedures and standards
• Find and report defects, anomalies and nonconformities
• Make decisions on inspection results and recommend next steps
• Keep accurate inspection records and documentation
• Train and guide less experienced inspectors
• Work with engineers, technicians and quality assurance on safety and continuous improvement

What you need

• NDT Level 2 inspector certification (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of NDT inspection experience, preferably in oil and gas
• Strong knowledge of UT, RT, MT and PT techniques
• Able to read technical drawings, procedures and specifications
• Proficient with inspection equipment and software
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain required safety certifications

Pay and conditions

• On-site position; travel required for inspection assignments
