SRG Global is looking for certified AICIP or API inspectors for casual work on major power station outages around Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, as part of its Power Services division. Inspectors examine in-service boilers, vessels, piping and tanks, plan inspection scopes including the NDT required, and report against codes and client requirements. AICIP is preferred with API 510 as the minimum, and AINDT NDT certifications are sought.

What the job involves
- Inspect in-service boilers, vessels, piping and tanks to the relevant code and client needs
- Plan inspection scopes, including any NDT needed, after reviewing equipment history
- Review findings and write inspection reports
- Perform quality reviews required by the applicable codes
What you need
- AICIP (preferred) or API 510 (minimum); API 653 highly desirable
- AINDT NDT certifications
- Knowledge of legislation, codes and standards for in-service pressure equipment inspection
- Heavy industrial, process or mining plant experience
- Australian work rights; pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
