SRG Global is hiring casual rope access NDT technicians, flying in and out of Perth, for maintenance and shutdown work at Fortescue mine and port sites across the Pilbara and Port Hedland. Technicians perform a range of NDT methods, look after equipment and produce reports to NATA signatory standard. PCN Level 2 in UT thickness, UT welds and MPI, API 570 and a pre-mobilisation NDT verification of competency are essential.

What the job involves
- Carry out NDT inspections using several methods, accessing work areas by rope
- Build relationships and communicate with the client
- Keep NDT equipment maintained
- Prepare reports to NATA signatory standard
What you need
- PCN Level 2 in UT thickness, UT welds and MPI
- API 570
- Pass an NDT verification of competency before mobilisation
- Current driver's licence, Australian work rights and ability to pass site medicals
- Ideal: PCN Level 2 eddy current and DPI, FMG induction and NATA signatory experience
