NDT Inspector

Vestas is hiring an NDT inspector for its wind turbine blade factory in Goleniów, near Szczecin. The inspector examines blades and parts as they are built using ultrasonic and infrared scanning, decides whether they pass, and sets the repair scope. Previous work as an NDT technician, UT and IR skills and good English are required.

What the job involves

• Supervise and carry out inspections of blades and parts while they are being built
• Run full scans, measurements and calculations with infrared and ultrasonic analysis to Vestas procedures
• Decide whether products, parts and processes meet the quality requirements
• Set the repair scope using the instructions and acceptance criteria
• Raise and check non-conformance reports and keep inspection records
• Coordinate with the production and support departments

What you need

• Secondary or higher education, preferably technical
• Experience working as an NDT technician
• Skill in infrared and ultrasonic testing and scanning techniques
• Able to read work instructions and apply technical standards
• Advanced Excel and MS Office; good spoken and written English

Pay and conditions

• Rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00 or 22:00–06:00
• Bonus programme and extensive training programme
• Full-time, on-site role at the Goleniów factory
