Airbus Helicopters is recruiting a seasoned NDT specialist in ultrasonics and/or eddy current for the NDT development and simulation team of its materials and processes laboratory in Marignane, near Marseille. The engineer develops and qualifies new inspection techniques, supports production and suppliers, and trains users. A materials engineering degree, at least ten years in NDT and Level 3 certification (or proven Level 2) are required.

What the job involves
- Own the NDT reference standards: define, inspect and qualify them
- Carry out Level 2 or Level 3 work on selected methods
- Give technical support to in-house production and suppliers on non-conformities and inspection sequences
- Lead projects that develop new NDT techniques, handling planning, budget and communication
- Approve inspection procedures, qualification files and reports, and audit NDT special processes
- Prepare and deliver NDT training for internal and external customers
What you need
- Materials engineering degree or equivalent
- Ten or more years of NDT experience
- Level 3 certification in at least one NDT method, or solid Level 2 certification
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards; NADCAP, personnel certification and auditor qualification are advantages
- Fluent French and English
- Must obtain a security clearance
