Bell Textron is looking for a non-destructive evaluation technician, at one of several levels, for its Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. The role develops and approves casting radiography techniques, evaluates suppliers' film and digital radiography, and performs CT inspections for commercial and military rotorcraft. NAS 410 Level II or III in radiographic testing and at least 2 years of radiography experience are required.

What the job involves

Develop, coordinate and sign off radiography techniques for castings
Review supplier first article radiography submissions and assess supplier RT processes and personnel
Plan, run and analyse CT inspections of rotorcraft components
Write procedures and inspect structural and flight test parts, and troubleshoot NDE issues on fielded aircraft
Support production radiography, including FOD detection, and represent Bell at industry committees

What you need

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
At least 2 years of radiology experience
NAS 410 Level II or III in RT
Experience across film, digital and/or computed tomography methods and with aerospace specifications
Knowledge of casting inspection; foundry experience with sand and investment castings preferred
PT, UT or ET qualifications are an advantage

Onsite; 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off
80 hours PTO, 120 hours vacation and 12-13 paid holidays a year
