What the job involves

Help radiograph large aerospace parts and jet engine airfoils
Position components and imaging plates inside the inspection vaults
Operate X-ray equipment under radiation safety procedures
Scan imaging plates, process digital images and check them against customer quality requirements
Follow detailed procedures and documentation rules and support part handling and shipping
Possibly cross-train in other methods such as penetrant testing

What you need

High school diploma or equivalent
Quick learner, comfortable with software-based systems
Close attention to detail and able to stay focused during repetitive tasks
Dependable attendance and able to work alone once trained
Able to stand for long periods and safely position large components

Pay and conditions

Pay: USD 21-24 per hour, as published by Element Materials Technology.
Overnight schedule: 11 pm-7:30 am, Monday-Friday
$21-$24 per hour depending on experience, plus a $3 per hour night differential
Overtime and occasional weekends, holidays or alternate schedules when required
