Element Materials Technology is recruiting a UT immersion Level II inspector for its aerospace team in Piedmont, South Carolina. The inspector sets up and runs ultrasonic equipment to NAS 410 techniques and procedures, evaluates results for acceptance and keeps calibration and inspection records. A high school diploma is required and NAS 410 Level I or II certification is preferred.

What the job involves
- Perform calibrations, ultrasonic tests and accept/reject evaluations to codes, standards and specifications
- Record and verify inspection data with full traceability
- Spot trends and deviations in results and contribute to corrective and preventive actions
- Guide and train Level I technicians on the job
- Keep inspection areas, calibration tools and records audit-ready and handle customer parts with care
What you need
- High school diploma or GED; NDT or quality training preferred
- Preferred: documented certification at Level I or II under NAS 410 or an equivalent scheme
- Understanding of quality standards, document control and traceability in aerospace or manufacturing
- Clear written communication and Word and Excel skills
- Able to lift 50 lb and meet visual acuity requirements
Pay and conditions
- Pay: USD 25-35 per hour, as published by Element Materials Technology.
- Pay $25-$35 per hour depending on experience
