Oceaneering is recruiting a multi-disciplined NDT technician based in Swansea to inspect client assets for its integrity management business. The technician performs ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle and penetrant testing at client facilities, maintains the equipment and reports against industry codes. PCN or SNT Level 2 in PT and MT is required, while UT 3.1 and 3.2 and radiography with RPS may still be in progress if completed within six months.

What the job involves
- Carry out UT, RT, MT and PT inspections at client facilities
- Interpret results and report to clients against codes and requirements
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment
- Work with engineering and maintenance teams on asset integrity issues
- Keep traceable records and guide junior technicians
What you need
- PCN/SNT Level 2 in penetrant and magnetic particle testing
- PCN/SNT Level 2 UT 3.1 and 3.2, or achieving it within six months
- Level 1 or 2 radiography with RPS, or achieving it within six months
- At least two years of NDT experience, ideally in energy or industrial sectors
- Knowledge of ASME, API and ASTM codes; valid driving licence and ability to gain security clearance
