What the job involves

Apply advanced NDE techniques to ASME, API and AWS codes and client specifications
Configure and run scanning systems and other advanced inspection equipment
Gather and analyze complex inspection data and deliver detailed reports and recommendations
Explain findings to clients and engineers and confirm objectives are met
Mentor junior technicians and assistants on advanced setups in the field
Support job planning, including scan plans, procedures and technique qualification

What you need

High school diploma or GED
Driver's license with an acceptable driving history
Documents supporting Team Level II qualification or certification
Able to pass drug, alcohol and background screening and obtain TWIC or DISA access
Advanced credentials sought include AUT PA-UT and UTSW, plus API 510/570/653, CWI, AMPP or CR/DR
Preferred: multiple conventional Level II/III certifications and refinery, petrochemical, pipeline or fab shop experience
