Certified Level III UT - NDT Support

Start Date: Immediate upon customer approval
Duration: 6 Months+
Location: Kinston, NC 28504
First Shift - 40 hrs/week plus overtime (Sat/Sun) as required
Reimbursement for travel expenses (airfare/hotel/car rental)
Daily meal per diem
Car allowance monthly for POV
Paid trips home every 2 months
Travel allowance from home to work-site and return at beginning and end of assignment
W2 assignment; paid weekly
Skills:
Skills/Experience Requirements:

- Current NAS410 Certification for Level III UT NDT (ASNT SNT-TC-IA/CP-189)
- Hours logs documenting Level III UT NDT support
- Training Record Certifications including Levels I, II and III
- Experience in the manufacturing process and ultrasonic inspection of graphite composite solid laminate and sandwich honeycomb core structures
- Improve, develop and implement ultrasonic phased array procedures on new and existing automated ultrasonic systems
- Self-motivated and able to lead while effectively communicating and interacting with program managers and customers for schedule and system qualifications
- Train current Level II personnel and trainees on new program requirements utilizing contact and immersion ultrasonic inspection systems
- Review customer requirements and develop ultrasonic calibration standards for implementation on programs
- Review and maintain equipment to customer metrology requirements
- Current with NDT UT specifications/standards/methodologies/techniques
- Complex engineering - drawings/parts
- Will be assessed via a General Exam and a Specific/Practical Exam provided by the customer's Level III
- Customer training
- Will report to Customer's Level III
