Acuren is hiring an experienced NDT Supervisor for its team at the Parkland Refinery in Burnaby, British Columbia. Working under the site Superintendent, the supervisor plans the daily and weekly inspection workload, allocates crews and equipment, and makes sure field NDT is done to procedure and reported accurately. Candidates need at least five years of industrial NDT experience that includes lead or supervisory work, and must live in or near Burnaby.

What the job involves
- Turn the client's priorities into day-by-day and weekly schedules and prepare work packages for field crews
- Allocate technicians, equipment and materials, and rebalance them as priorities or site conditions shift
- Lead field walkdowns to confirm scope, job readiness, access and safety constraints
- Make sure technicians work to the relevant procedures, codes and client specifications, and check reports and data for accuracy
- Coach leads and technicians, watch progress and risks, and escalate problems with recovery plans
- Record crew hours, downtime and variance forms in Airtable and report monthly KPIs to the Superintendent
What you need
- At least 5 years in industrial NDT (refinery, petrochemical or similar), with some of it as a lead or supervisor
- NDT certifications suited to the role; extra tickets are an asset
- Good command of NDT techniques, codes and quality expectations
- Experience planning scopes and coordinating crews, equipment and materials under changing priorities
- Able to audit NDT reports and data sets for accuracy and compliance
- Microsoft Office skills; Airtable or a similar work-management tool is an asset
- Local to Burnaby or nearby
Pay and conditions
- Pay: CAD 58.63 per hour, as published by Acuren.
- 4x10 rotation, 40 hours per week, immediate start
- Up to $58.63/hour plus a supervisor uplift (QCCC agreement), depending on certifications held
