Acuren needs a Certified Welding Inspector who also holds UT Level II for a callout role from its Milwaukee, Wisconsin operations. The inspector examines pressure-retaining equipment visually and with NDT, reports its condition and advises clients on repairs. CWI certification, UT Level II and site experience supporting petrochemical engineers are required.

What the job involves
- Inspect static and dynamic pressure-retaining equipment visually and with NDT to CWI and ASME requirements
- Give clients technically accurate reports on equipment condition
- Recommend repair, re-rating, replacement or alteration so plant equipment can run safely
- Advise on welding and metallurgical issues and on applying NDE techniques and procedures
- Follow Acuren and client safety rules and take part in site safety programs
- Travel when required
What you need
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- UT Level II certification
- 5-10 years of experience, or 2+ years on site
- Strong command of CWI and ASME standards
- Experience directly supporting petrochemical facility engineers
- Additional API certification is a plus
