What the job involves
- Re-inspect seamless pipe with NDT to verify defects reported by EMI
- Calibrate and verify the prove-up system so results are accurate and repeatable
- Confirm test equipment is intact, calibrated and ready before inspection
- Review manufacturing orders to confirm the standards and test specs that apply
- Work with EMI operators on defect sensitivity and equipment performance
- Record inspection and calibration data in the digital tracking system for traceability
What you need
- Current UT Level II and MPI Level I certifications (the duties also reference MFL Level II)
- Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills on test equipment
- Analytical ability to interpret defect data
- Safety-focused, detail-oriented and dependable
- Available for rotating shifts, weekends and overtime
