Tenaris, a supplier of tubular products and services to the energy industry, is hiring a radiographic test inspector for its industrial operations in Houston, Texas. The inspector runs X-ray inspection on pipe, marks defects and records results to defined quality standards. The job is on rotating shifts, and familiarity with magnetic particle and visual inspection is preferred.

What the job involves
- Inspect pipe, identifying and marking any defects according to procedures
- Change over and set up the X-ray and film-developing equipment
- Prepare X-ray plates to quality procedures and place them on the pipe
- Identify and position pipes and operate the machine
- Help with lockout/tagout and routine maintenance such as developer fluid and machine adjustments
- Log results in the tracking systems and report deviations from standards
What you need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with NDT techniques, particularly magnetic particle and visual inspection
- Forklift and overhead crane experience
- Knowledge of the ERW process and tubing industry
- Team player with a positive attitude
