It offers built-in DGS/AVG flaw sizing with 18 preset probe definitions, time-controlled gain, DAC curves that stay valid after range or gain changes, and AWS weld evaluation. Test range covers 10 mm to 5 m in steel through a 0.5-15 MHz broadband receiver with 100 dB of calibrated gain. Memory holds 200 A-scans and 50 setups, both BNC and LEMO 1 sockets are fitted, and a 14.4 V lithium-ion pack gives around eight hours of use; the unit weighs 2.3 kg.
