    Cleaning dye penetrant

    Some time ago I used dye penetration method to check welded aluminium parts. Unfortunately I did not clean the penetrant after the inspection. I have tried to clean the penetrant stains, but it is impossible, since aluminium had been anodized and penterant is deep inside the pores of the oxide layer. Could you recommend some method how to remove these stains?

    you can try etching or ultrasonic cleaning
