Penetrant Testing – Levels of Dye
On Magnaflux’s website they list the different types of penetrant they sell. They have them categorized by Level 1 thru 4. My question is where are the levels defined, I couldn’t find anything is ASME about it.

Hi,
These levels have been defined as per the standard MIL I 25135 .A consensus document QPL AMS 2644 also defines the levels.Another level of 1/2 sensitivity level is also defined in the document.
