What the job involves

Plan, perform and evaluate NDT on A350 carbon-fibre structural parts, along with dimensional, contour and visual checks for first-article and series inspection
Operate automated inspection systems, including teaching the equipment and judging computer-generated scan images
Write findings reports and quality notifications and settle deviations with engineering and suppliers
Monitor and document the inspection processes and complete first article inspection records in SAP
Help draft inspection and process instructions and improve the NDT processes

What you need

Ultrasonic NDT certification to DIN EN 4179 at Level II
Completed apprenticeship as an aircraft mechanic or in a plastics or metalworking trade, or equivalent
Master craftsman, technician or comparable qualification
Confident use of drawings and inspection, quality and process instructions; SAP, MS Office and Google tools, CATIA a plus
Good English and willingness to work shifts and keep training
