Bureau Veritas is hiring a senior NDT technician in Mackay, Queensland, to provide integrity and reliability services to local customers and, when required, manage particular sites or projects. The work covers MT, PT, UT, RT and other NDT methods on mining, oil and gas and major project sites. Applicants need AINDT, PCN or ISO 9712 Level 2 in UT (welds) and at least three years of plant NDT experience; the advertised salary is $79,000 to $85,000.

What the job involves
- Provide integrity and reliability services for Mackay clients under branch quality and HSE plans
- Take charge of specific sites or projects when needed
- Perform MT, PT, UT, RT and other NDT inspections
- Work independently while maintaining strong client relationships
What you need
- AINDT, PCN or ISO 9712 Level 2 in UT (welds)
- 3+ years testing fixed or mobile plant for the oil & gas or mining sector
- Underground coal mining experience highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and organisation; commitment to HSE
