Role synopsis:

• To be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving in Quality Control and Assurance of BP Operations in Angola. • To maintain the plant incoming goods requirements, QC specification according to Regional Technical Team. • To maintain and update incoming goods process and QC forms for all finished products. • To be a country for inspections at suppliers. • To push and improve package suppliers’ quality performance. • To assist Supplier Quality Management team to introduce new plants in Angola. • To assist QA to resolve customer complaints. • To assist other teams in anti-counterfeit (counterfeit product identification) and Non Conformities . • To assist procurement team in Witnessing Inspections for new equipment. • To assist Reliability and Maintenance team in following and witnessing repair of equipment. • Self-life management (good balance between life and work ) • Support on Preservations activities in Plant

Key accountabilities:

• Establish and supervise QC Quarantine and Inspections in Plant. Develop and implement QC procedures. • To define raw materials, finished products, finished oil and packaging materials specification, to clarify followed standard for quality control which shall be traced to national standard or international standard, to clarify test method and test equipment, and quality acceptance criteria. • To ensure all incoming raw materials, products and packaging materials meet bp quality standards • To ensure all MSDS in place and distribute to relative department or personnel, maintain them properly and update them on time. • To compile, manage & control product formulations, raw material specifications confidential information or documents are well maintained. • To receive and organize routine testing of production in timely manner. To maintain batch QC records and issue batch approvals to production. • To control nonconforming production samples and to advise corrective action to be taken. • To be responsible for the disposal, minimize in the production side. • To provide proposal on the obsolete product and slow moving product disposal from technical point view to help reducing the obsolete and slow moving stocks. • Provide professional support to each department to analyse the root cause of Quality incident. • To participate in Continuous improvement to improve operation efficiency and drive down cost. • To prepare control and revise short and long term storage and preservation procedures programs, to make sure material is fit for use • To implement MDHS and COSHH regulations in line with QC activities for handling hazardous substances.

Essential Education:

• School degree in Mechanical or related field. Essential experience and job requirements:

• Minimum 5 years QC experience in manufacturing operations including 2 years management position in a multinational business environment.

• Be familiar with ISO9001:2000; TS 16949 , 5S.

• Be familiar with Industry Standards or regulations.

• Result oriented with strong analytical and planning skills.

• Excellent presentation & communication skills, able to deal with people at all levels.

• Good planning and organizing, problem solving and coaching skills

• Good written and spoken English.
