Plant Inspector

We have immediate opportunities for experienced and qualified API Inspectors . There are various rosters available.

About the Position
As a member of the team, you will be required to carry out API Inspection work in a reliable and competent manner, in accordance with company procedures and by providing our client with a high level of service in all aspects of the job. This is a full time, permanent position within a busy/close knit team.

Key responsibilities:
*Perform in-service inspection of pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment as per the applicable code and client requirements;
*Prepare inspection work scopes including any NDT required, review the equipment history and review all findings;
*Prepare reports for the inspections performed on such equipment to the applicable code and client requirements;
*Perform inspections and quality reviews as required by the applicable code and client requirements for the construction of new pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment;
*Train and mentor Inspectors / NDT Technicians if required;
Ensure all safety systems are adhered to and that work is carried out in accordance with such systems;
*Ensure that the client is fully aware of the range of services offered by the business and leverage where possible;
*In all activities strive for the highest level of operational efficiency to ensure a profitable contribution to the business enterprise.

About you,
.API 510 & 570 Certification;
ASNT or equivalent NDT Certifications;
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and standards associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant and equipment;
Working knowledge and experience of NDT and Specialist Inspection techniques;
At least 3 years relevant industry experience with exposure to heavy industrial plant;
Demonstrated commitment to flexible work practices;
The ability to work as part of a team;
Demonstrated enthusiasm and high energy levels and ability to work under pressure;
Well-developed organisational, communication and report writing skills;
Sound PC skills, proficient with MS Office software;
A commitment to safety, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
