    Tolerance for PMI inspection

    Hi,

    According to the PMI Procedure i am referring, The composition observed in the PMI machine shall be acceptable within +/-10% of specified range of the element.

    Can any one please provide me any code reference of the +/- 10% tolerance. From where it came?

    Hi,
    You can refer to ASME SEC I – Non mandatory appendix-B.
    Clause B-8 of this appendix specifies this acceptance
