Project Engineer

Location: Bergen, Norway

Role and Responsibilities
Part of your responsibilities are to organize and guide our In-line inspection (ILI) tool preparations in close collaboration with the project managers and the workshop. Your task is to ensure that the ILI tool can be prepared on time and that all parts, consumables, and procedures are available prior to shipment and to ensure that the pipeline inspection can be completed successfully at the client sites globally.

 

Below you’ll find a high level summary of your daily tasks:

 

Combination of technical documentation and technical tasks
Multidiscipline understanding of electronical, mechanical and software
Define project item requirements
Interface between project requirements and ART Scan tool preparation
Prepare project documentations and procedures
Interface between workshop and project management during mobilization and onsite activities
Support and coordinate technical procurement with suppliers globally
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, e.g. Mechanical Engineer
Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
Fluent verbal and written English
Experience with Microsoft Office, e.g., Word, Excel & Power Point
