Handheld FLIR T560 infrared camera with 640 x 480 resolution, hired out by thermography firm Red Current from Aldermaston near Reading. It measures from -20 °C to +1500 °C and suits electrical and mechanical condition surveys where radiometric images or IR video must be saved to SD card. Its optical block swivels through 180°, focusing is laser-assisted and the controls sit on a 4-inch touchscreen; free software lets users analyse images and write reports after the hire ends. The box includes the camera with a 42° or 25° lens, two batteries with charging dock and power supplies, memory card, neck strap, USB and HDMI leads, a printed quick-start guide and a hard case.
