Mass-spectrometer helium leak detector from Adixen by Pfeiffer Vacuum, rented by LDS Vacuum Products of Longwood, Florida. It finds leaks in vacuum systems, chambers and sealed parts either by evacuating the part (inboard testing) or by sniffing around pressurised items, and it can use helium-4, helium-3 or hydrogen as tracer gas. The rental unit has a built-in oil-sealed roughing pump, an NW25 inlet and a removable colour touchscreen with SD card recording, and a sniffer probe is supplied. It weighs about 123 lb without its crate. Shipping is charged separately, a clean-up fee applies to each rental, and a signed rental agreement is required before dispatch.
