    Dear NDT Friends

    My question is about acceptance standard for visual examination for surface porosity and weld spatter in components manufactured according to ASME Code Sec.VIII Div.1.
    How can we evaluate these surface imperfections ?

    Porosity and weld spatter detected by visual examination should be removed by grinding etc.
