    NDT of rope access/mountaineering equipment

    Good day

    I have been recently approached by a potential customer regarding the inspection of in-service carabiners, figure of 8s, descent control devices as well as ropes etc.

    I am aware of standards that are used for the manufacturing of such equipment but none for the in-service inspection thereof.

    Please could you guide me in the right direction as to where I could obtain such information (PT/MT techniques?)as I wish to provide a professional service where safety is not negotiable.
