The Role
Reporting to the Manager Growth Programs, this role will develop new and emerging NDT technology (with an initial focus on Ultrasonics and other methodologies) at a National level.  This exciting opportunity is to be based in any one of the following major hubs, Brisbane, Newcastle, Melbourne or Perth.

The day to day
Responsibilities include:
Liaise with manufacturers to receive training on equipment and ensure knowledge of equipment capabilities is current;
Perform in-house research to create new procedures/technique sheets;
Mentor and train regional SME’s and advanced technique trainees;
Provide technical leadership and guidance for techniques this position is responsible for;
Monitor the quality objectives for the techniques this position is responsible for, e.g. competencies, reporting, internal procedures, field technical audits.
This role will have the support of a progressive management team and work alongside an experienced and well-respected leadership team. Ongoing training and development opportunities will also be provided to ensure the successful candidate is well equipped to fulfill their position.

The essentials
You will be able to demonstrate a deep level of knowledge in:
the principles of test methods in which they are certified;
national and international codes, standards and specifications; and
training and mentoring others.
current ISO 9712 certification in Ultrasonics (minimum Level 2);
extensive experience working with NDT (minimum 8 years);
experience working with PAUT and other advanced NDT techniques
