Nondestructive Testing technician will independently perform inspections seeking corrosion, defects, or detrimental conditions in accordance with specific written criteria.
Job Functions:
Performs all duties as assigned by the Director of Quality
Perform Dye Penetrant Inspection, and Magnetic Particle Inspection
Continue studies to gain NDT certifications while gaining hands-on experience in various NDT methods
Maintain current NDT certifications
Performs NDT inspections for which certified
Interprets and report results of inspections and maintains documentation of inspection activities
Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required
MS Office experience, Ability to work with computers / computerized equipment
Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
2+ years as NDT Technician
Level II Certified in Dye Penetrant Inspection
Level II Certified in Magnetic Particle
Level II Certified in Eddy Current Testing a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
Excellent communication skills
