UT-SW with additional certs – Permanent job – Portland

Busy office in Portland, Oregon looking to add fulltime and permanent inspectors to their team. Typically 32-40+ hours per week depending on projects. Fab shops mostly with AWS D1.5 and D1.1 project work as well as ASME B31.3 and Sec VIII work. This shop prides itself on getting it done right the first time. Looking for candidates with decent and relevant experience.

While this position will be expected to help in a variety of ways, the following are part of the core purpose of the position and will likely be done on a daily basis:

Perform non-destructive testing and examination at client sites
Manage equipment and materials necessary for the completion of inspection
Compile client reports including drawings using CAD and word processors
Meet deadlines for work and reports, potentially on nights and weekends
Work with clients to locate and identify indications and their probable causes
General shop-assistant duties to keep the NDT shop in working order

Skills:
Experienced Level II UT-SW and ready to test/certify and get busy with UT-SW inspections
High School Diploma, GED, or College Certification
Documented NDT classroom training and method experience (OJT) hours for Level II candidates
Valid Driver’s License
MUST BE United States citizen
