AEROSPACE NDT TECHNICIAN: CONTRACT ROLE

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Due to successful growth of the business, we are now looking for NDT
technicians to join our contracting team, this is a long-term contracting role.

You will have experience in working with Aerospace parts, particularly
with Eddy Current.

Minimum 5 years experience in the aerospace industry.

You will be a strong team player who’s able to work at pace & be able
to work to timeframes.

Client facing abilities with an in-depth knowledge of theoretical and
practical qualifications.

As an NDT technician, you will be based on site predominantly in the
south of the England.

The chosen candidates will be part of a well-established team and
expected to be able to work precisely to techniques & procedures
& have a flexible attitude to working hours.

This position will involve:

Eddy Current, Ultrasonic & Dye Penetrant Inspection of aluminium parts.
Working shifts
Being regularly audited
Carrying out Daily, Monthly & Annual checks
Provide accurate reporting on completion of work
Willingness to learn and develop NDT career with a flexible attitude
to a changing environment
Candidates must hold the following qualifications as a minimum:

Eddy current level 2 NAS410, EN4179 or PCN Aero
Ultrasonic level 2 NAS410, EN4179 or PCN Aero
Dye Penetrant level 2 NAS410, EN4179 or PCN Aero
Rates: £50 per hour on days, £65 per hour on nights, 11 – 12 hour shifts.

Must have the ability to work in the UK.
